OUR MISSION

Welcome to Xtra DAB — The New Small‑Scale DAB Network for Harlow & Bishops Stortford

We are proud to be the official licence holders for the small‑scale DAB multiplex serving Harlow and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re an established broadcaster, an online station ready to take the next step, a community group exploring radio for the first time, or you have a completely new idea — we’d love to talk to you. Our multiplex is built to support a diverse mix of voices, formats, and creative concepts. Get in touch and discover what we can offer.

Harlow is a vibrant, forward‑looking town with creativity, sport, culture, and green spaces at its core. Perfectly positioned near London, Stansted Airport, and Cambridge, it benefits from excellent transport links and a growing population.

It’s also a place with remarkable heritage: the birthplace of fibre‑optic telecommunications, home to the UK’s first residential tower block, and the origin of the world’s first automated cricket scoring board. Harlow has always been a town of innovation — and now, its radio landscape is evolving too.
